Best eSIM for Bali (July 2026)
Bali deserves its own answer, because it's where most Indonesia eSIM buyers are headed. The good news: Bali is the easiest place in Indonesia to be connected. Telkomsel runs 5G across the island, and coverage is excellent in Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Pererenan, Uluwatu, Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua.
For a standard Bali holiday of 1 to 2 weeks, the best-value option we found is Ezy eSIM's 10GB / 30-day plan at $14.00 on Telkomsel 5G. That's enough for daily Google Maps, Grab and Gojek rides, WhatsApp, Instagram uploads and restaurant bookings. Lighter users can take the 5GB plan at $8.00.
For Bali digital nomads in Canggu, Pererenan or Ubud co-working spaces, the 20GB plan at $21.00 or 50GB at $38.00 ($0.76/GB, the lowest per-GB rate we found for Indonesia) both include unlimited hotspot for tethering a laptop when villa Wi-Fi lets you down. Nomad's 50GB at $41.00 runs on a 45-day validity, so it's worth considering if your stay stretches past a month on one plan.

Worth an honest note here: in early 2026 Jetpac matched Ezy eSIM at $21.00 for 20GB. Jetpac has since raised that plan to $35.00, and its 10GB list price has gone from $17.00 to $26.00. If you've seen older comparisons citing Jetpac as the joint-cheapest option for Indonesia, they're out of date.

The pattern is the same as everywhere: "unlimited" means roughly 3GB per day at full speed, then a crawl. A 20GB fixed plan at $21.00 gives most travellers more usable data for a third of the price.
Airalo Indonesia and Bali Prices vs Ezy eSIM
Airalo is the biggest brand in travel eSIMs, so it's the name most people compare against. Two things to know about its Indonesia offer as of July 2026:
Network: Airalo's Indonesia eSIM connects to 3 (Hutchinson) plus one other network, per Airalo's own product page. It does not connect to Telkomsel. Coverage is fine in Bali's main tourist areas and Jakarta, but noticeably weaker on smaller islands and in eastern Indonesia.
Price: Airalo's fixed-data Indonesia plans start at $4.50 for 1GB / 7 days, 80% more than Ezy eSIM's $2.50 entry plan. When we last verified Airalo's 10GB Indonesia plan (March 2026) it was $22.00 against Ezy eSIM's $14.00. Airalo's current site pushes its unlimited plans, which run $11 for 3 days up to $69 for 30 days.
Airalo also requires its app for purchase and management. Ezy eSIM sends the QR code by email, and everything installs from your phone settings.

Which Network Is Best in Indonesia?
This matters more in Indonesia than almost anywhere else. The country spans 17,000+ islands, and network quality diverges sharply once you leave Java and southern Bali.
Telkomsel is Indonesia's largest network by a wide margin, with the most extensive coverage across Java, Bali, Sumatra, Sulawesi, Kalimantan and the outer islands. Independent reviewers consistently rate it the best 4G/5G network in Indonesia. For Komodo, Flores, the Gilis, Nusa Penida and eastern Indonesia, it's effectively the only network with dependable signal.
XL Axiata is the second-largest network, strong in Java and Bali's tourist areas, thinner beyond them.
Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and 3 (Tri) are adequate in cities and main tourist strips but significantly weaker in rural areas and on remote islands. This is what Airalo's Indonesia plans use.
Who connects to what: Ezy eSIM uses Telkomsel 5G plus four backup networks (XL, Natrindo, Smartfren, Fren/Hepi), auto-selecting the strongest signal. How to Set Up an Indonesia eSIM
